Aamir Khan-starrer 3 Idiots will release this year after all.

While sources insist that the film may not release on December 25, it seems that producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and director Rajkumar Hirani have convinced the producers committee and the film will release as scheduled.

The committee, which includes the likes of Mukesh Bhatt and Ronnie Screwvala among others, is taking a call on the films that were adversely affected due to the strike.

This will make it the third Aamir Khan film to release in December in three years.
