Aamir joins chorus against Australia attacksThe Ghajini actor was referring to a series of attack on Indian, especially Shravan Kumar who was stabbed with a screwdriver in Melbourne.

Aamir also called upon Indians to treat foreigners the way they would like to be treated when abroad. “While we want action to be taken by authorities in Australia, we should remember all the various crimes against foreigners who visit India. Let us hope and pray that Shravan recovers soon,” he wrote in his blog.

The actor is part of the Indian government’s ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ campaign, which urges Indians to protect foreign visitors to the country.

Back from a two-month sabbatical, Aamir is set to begin the shooting of Three Idiots from June 15. The Rajkumar Hirani film also stars Kareena Kapoor, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani. Loosely based on Chetan Bhagat’s Five Point Someone, Three Idiots is expected to be released in December.
