The shooting of Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots is currently going on at a frenetic pace in the cities of Mumbai and Delhi. The film, which has been adapted from Chetan Bhagat’s novel, Five Point Someone, stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Madhavan.
According to sources, Aamir, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi play three engineering students in the film. Of the three, Madhavan plays the narrator in the film.

He takes the audience into the film and the lives of the characters. The film’s shooting is nearing its end. The shooting in Mumbai and Delhi is expected to get over by March 30. After that the unit will move to Ladakh, where there is five days work remaining.

The film will then go into post production and be readied for a December 25 release.
