Shah Rukh has been a favorite with Hirani but as luck has it, Hirani has not been able to do any projects with him. Even Three Idiots was supposed to involve the King Khan but it did not happen.

Though Hirani seems to be delighted to have roped in Aamir. If not ‘King Khan’ it is the ‘Intellectual Khan’. The movie is set in an engineering college but it shall not be ‘IIT’ as in the book.

The movie is said to bring out the flaws of the modern education system where relevance on ‘education’ has decreased and it’s more on ‘performance and success’.
